Winter Aconite - Eranthis Hyemalis

Winter Aconite Eranthis Hyemalis. Bright yellow buttercup like flowers with a ruff of green leaves very early in the spring. Found native in Europe, belongs to the family Ranunculaceae, it is commonly known as Winter Aconite or Wolf's Bane. If allowed, they will naturalise & spread. Happy in full sun or partial shade, they make a stunning carpet of yellow.
