Dahlia Pom Pom - Zippity Do Da

Dahlia 'Zippity Do Da' produces an impressive succession of lilac-pink flowers throughout the growing season, from summer until the first hard frosts arrive. Each delicate bloom measures 5-6cm across, yet appears in remarkable abundance on this compact, upright plant. Reaching 75cm in height, it fits seamlessly into mid-border schemes and performs equally well in containers on patios, balconies and terraces. The flowers are superb for cutting, bringing extended colour indoors. Being frost-tender, tubers should be lifted and stored in cool conditions over winter, or protected with thick mulch in milder areas to ensure their return the following year.
